Hi, I’m Jane — founder of The Digital Content Studio and creator of The Creator Suite

And like most business owners I know, I didn’t start with clarity. I started with chaos.

When I launched my first few businesses—everything from PR to bath & body products—I thought passion would carry me. I had ideas. Drive. Vision. But what I didn’t have was structure. Strategy. Or support. And without those? Even the best ideas start to feel like heavy work.

I spent years trying to figure it all out myself—testing, tweaking, second-guessing. I was constantly torn between designing content, learning tech, showing up on social, and trying to actually sell something. Sound familiar?

 

The Pressure to "Show Up" Nearly Burned Me Out

When social media became the measure of success, I fell into the trap most of us do:

• Obsessing over aesthetics that didn’t convert

• Posting for the algorithm instead of my audience

• Creating content that looked nice but led nowhere

I remember sitting at my desk, tweaking Canva designs for hours, only to delete half of them. I had the ideas, but not the systems. The ambition, but not the results.

It wasn’t that I didn’t work hard—I just wasn’t working smart. And that’s when something shifted.

 

Discovering Canva Was My Turning Point

I started using it out of desperation—to make content quicker, with less stress. But it unlocked something bigger. For the first time, I could see what my brand could look like. I could make it real.

I taught myself everything: layout theory, branding, content marketing, and eventually digital product design. What started as survival turned into passion—and then, into possibility.

 

I Didn’t Just Want Pretty Graphics—

I wanted tools that helped me sell. Templates that saved me hours. And resources that didn’t feel like I was downloading the same recycled thing 100 others had already bought.
